FUN FOILS CARDS: a brief tutorial!

Here I’m back at Craftyscrapper’s blog with some fun cards using
Craftyscrappers FUN FOILS and SHIMMER PASTES ...

This is the first time I’ve used foil in my cards and I really love the outcome…..
Craftyscrappers shiny transfer foils are professional grade and are proudly made in INDIA, and these super glitzy foils , add Stunning Sparkle and shine to your craft projects.
What stopped me till now was the investment in laminator machine for foiling….
But these fun foils are really fun to work with.
You don’t need any fancy tools for this..
They can be used with a lamination machine and also work like a charm with Big shot and Cuttlebug machines, where you do not need heat to transfer the foils to your craft surfaces.

 

So Let’s see what I came up with…

These are three cards i made using the fabulous supplies from Craftyscrappers.

 

So let me quickly share the supplies i used to create these fun cards…

Supplies used:

 

White Card stock

 

Fun Foil – Sizzling Silver

Craftyscrappers Stencil- Rose Bunch

Craftyscrappers Stencil- Lattice

Shimmer Spray – Grape Juice

Shimmer Spray – Egyption Crystal

Crafty Glue

Die cuts

Sequins

Sequins-Rani pink

Sequins-orange

Sequins-purple

Okay, so lets begin with the cards…

 

Here’s the first card that i made, using the stencil, ROSE BUNCH.
and shimmer spray- Grape juice... and the beautiful Fun Foil- SIZZLING SIVER.

A BRIEF TUTORIAL:

 

• I took A2 size white card stock and placed Rose Bunch Stencil over it and secured it with masking tape. 
• Then, I applied crafty glue over it evenly with sponge and removed the stencil carefully.(craftyscrappers also have fun-foil glue that works perfectly with the transfer foils.)
• After that I placed Sizzling Silver Foil  over it and pressed it first with my hands and then by passing it through the big shot.
  Remove the extra foil….
  Now,your foiled background is ready to play with.
• I sprayed this foiled card stock with Grape Juice Shimmer Spray and immediately wiped it with baby wipes.
• Finally decorated it with some die cut sentiments and sequins.

Here’s the second card that i made, using the stencil, ROSE BUNCH.
and shimmer spray- Grape juice and shimmer spray-egyptian crystal ... and the left over foils from my first card,  Fun Foil- SIZZLING SIVER.

A BRIEF TUTORIAL:

 

• In this card, I have used the left over foil from the previous card…
• I applied crafty glue over the left over foil with sponge and pasted it to the
  white card stock..
  
• pressed the same by passing it through Big shot.
• In this, I have applied shimmer spray through paint brush with 4 different colors.

Lets, move on to my THIRD CARD, where i have used the stencil-Lattice with the Fun foil-sizzling silver and shimmer sprays-Egyptian Crystal and Grape Juice.

I really enjoyed working with Craftyscrappers fun foils…
