So here’s my Finished project

IMG_20180728_170332334.jpg

STEPBY STEP TUT.png

step1.png

I took 10 inch circle shaped MDF board, and prime it using gesso, but instead of using brush, i used palate knife to apply gesso, this way will have texture on the surface, it is the best way to create texture on any surface easily, Next I pasted Skewer Sticks, Backings of canvas and some other wooden embellishments,

this is how it looks :

IMG_20180727_094221956.jpg

step2.png

Further I added some more embellishments like Mini Metal gears, Wooden keys, Pebbles & flat back pearls, Then I covered everything using gesso again.

IMG_20180727_095417070.jpg

step3.png

After everything dries completely. I colored entire project using Craftyscrappers shimmer sprays named “Ocean waves“, “Sweet sunshine“, “Rusty Denim“, “Lushy orchid” after I finish the spraying before it gets dried I tilted the project little bit so this way all the color flew & blend into each other nicely .. these sprays are so amazing that it goes on any surface as you can see here.

step4

I stamped the image from stamp set called “Feathers” and colored the image using acrylic paints. I Just love this stamp set and its perfect focal point for any mixed media project or even cards.

IMG_20180728_153942879.jpg

step5

I added image to the project and to lift the image bit upwards I glue down some cardboard pieces behind the image and paste that on project, you can used double sided foam tape for this process too, And to give more shimmer and sparkle I apply Shimmer paint metallic lustre “Bronze” using dry brush technique, and voila!! this is final & glorious look of the finished Project.

ALL SEASONS IN 1 CARD: a step-by-step tutorial-DT SWEETY GUPTA

Hello everyone,

Sweety here, Creative Designer @craftyscrappers
and I hope you are having a great day.

Today i have come up with a STEP-BY-STEP tutorial for a cute all seasons card,

blog featrured header.jpg

that feature a beautiful and versatile stencil by @craftyscrappers

Rainy Day

cs-stnl-25[RAINYDAY].jpg

Though it’s called rainy day, this stencil can easily create a winter night sky, a sunny sky and a spring rainbow, along with the rainy scene. So, I decided to merge all 4 in one card.

But before I start, let me tell you our challenge for the month of JULY is ongoing,

Here’s the final look of the ALL SEASON IN 1 CARD:

IMG_7371.jpg

Untitled-1.png

step1.png

I took a square card stock and drew 2 lines to make 4 sections as shown:

IMG_7344.JPG

step2.png
I then coloured each box with a different color of Distress oxide- Twisted citron/Cracked pistachio/Broken China/Fossilised amber.

IMG_7345.JPG

step3.png

I then used the stencil to create rainbow using permanent alcohol markers in the greenish box. These Mungyo markers have a solid tip, so the ink does not seep under the stencil and gives a finished look.

IMG_7346.JPG

step4

Now I used the stencil again to create night sky with gold shimmer paste on the blue box and rainy sky with modelling paste on the pista coloured box.

IMG_7348.JPG

step5

I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment that suited my background.
This is from “You n me” stamp set by Craftyscrappers.

IMG_7371.jpg

step6

The sun and clouds were also created using the stencil. Don’t they look like stickers? I matted every panel on a black burlap, and then stick them using foam adhesive.

IMG_7372.jpg

So That’s all from my end today. I hope you like this bright, all seasons in 1 card.
