to win amazing prices!!!
But before moving onto the tutorial … let me show you the Canvas first.
I took 8 by 8 inches framed canvas, Mod podge , kitchen towel (coz I like its dotted pattern ) and a paint brush. I tore the tissue paper and glued it over the canvas as shown with the help of Mod podge and let it air dry.
Once the canvas was dried,
I applied a layer of Gesso over it to prepare the base for coloring.
After that I stenciled the canvas with texture paste using Craftyscrappers Rose Bunch Stencil and let it air dry. You can use your heat tool to fasten the process.
Then, I applied Gold Acrylic paint to add some interest .
Once satisfied with my coloring, I arranged all my embellishment roughly on the canvas as shown. I have used some chipboards (colored these with gold acrylic color) , flowers, Butterfly die cut outs ( which I heat embossed with white embossing powder), metal charm, glitter balls etc to decorate it. I glued all my embellishment over the canvas with glue gun.
Then I added the stamped sentiment… and if you are wondering what is this “Diddle” then let me tell you its my friend’s sister nick name for whom he asked me to make this canvas.
Lastly, I covered the whole canvas with mod podge and let it dry overnight.
Hope you like it.. Here are some close ups..
Hope you get inspired.

A BRIEF TUTORIAL ON SHABBY CHIC CARD:
First, i took a white card stock and then i stuck brown pattern paper with the help of crafty glue that was send in my dt kit. After that i applied another white pattern paper on the brown card stock, to create layers. after that i placed the Peacock feathers stencil over my working area and secured it with the help of the masking tape.then applied the beautiful.. shimmer paste on it. The shimmer paste that i have used here is called- TICKLED and added some more pattern paper and shimmer paper on top of it.Then I decorate my card with some mulberry flowers and charms and applied some glitter glue on both the sides of the card. And thus finished with my shabBy chic card.

Here’s my second project, which is a tag…
A BRIEF TUTORIAL ON SHABBY CHIC CARD:
First i took a plain white tag and distressed it with two inks. After that i placed the peacock feather stencil on it with the help of masking tape and then i sprayed grape juice shimmer spray on the half part of the tag and let it dry.
Once dried i sprayed sweet pumpkin shimmer spray on the rest of the tag. Once everything was dried, i applied the shimmer paste “butter” on the top and the bottom of the tag.
after that i applied double side tape on the sides of the tag and used the fun foil with the tape and rubbed it smoothly.
Finally i removed the left over foil sheet and i was done.
it looked so amazing and beautiful!!! Lastly i applied some mulberry flowers and stones in the center of the tag and finally i took a die cut and stamp a sentiment on it and placed it on the tag with the help of a foam tape.

I really love working with craftyscrappers products, they have a wonderful collection of products at a very reasonable rate.
This is Anila over the blog today, and i have some tags tutorial to share with you today,
using different techniques and mediums.
Who doesn’t love tags… 🙂 Stampers have used tags for years to create mini works of art. A tag is small that is not too intimidating very easy and fun to create.. that is .. it’s okay, even if you mess up. Tags are great for experimenting with new techniques, too.
So I created these three easy yet fun tags with stamps, inks,
sprays ,stencils and shimmer pastes…
Here’s a look at the completed tags:
So lets begin with the tutorial…
(* picture heavy post!)
To begin with, I took white colored ready tags…
You can even cut them from a white Cardstock,
of any size to create your own custom sized tags.
Took the tag, secured it on the table with washi tape.
Then Secure the stencil over the tag with washi tape.
The stencil that i have used for this tag is from craftyscrappers
and its called, “create-a-scene(sunburst)
Take sufficient amount of shimmer paste (Separate stencil and shimmer paste for each tag) and evenly spread it across/through the stencil.
The shimmer paste that i am using here is called,
For the third tag, I coloured the background using distress ink.
(Applying Distress inks on the craft mat and picked up the color with water brush)
Let the tags dry again.
(this is how they look…)
Next, I started layering the tags with pollens and lots of flowers.
I tried to use the matching colored flowers and pollens for each tag. Like this stem color tag with coordinating flowers…
I stamped a seperate sentiment for each tag from Craftyscrappers stamp sets
and mounted them on the tag using foam adhesive.
I tied twines along with coordinating ribbon through the punched hole.
Lastly added matching sequins from craftyscrappers to add some elements.
Here’s are some of the close-ups of the tags:
For this Tag, i have used the sentiment from the stamp set, “Doodly Blooms”.
Today I am so excited…..
This is my first post for Craftyscrappers as a design team member.
I have a beautiful inspiration project – A MIXED MEDIA CANVAS..
for you all where I have used a lot of Craftyscrappers products.
But before I talk more on these awesome products, let me give you a glimpse of my work.
My inspiration behind this project are my two little princesses, my daughters… Myra and Misha.
A short HOW-TO, make this piece:
I used a canvas board as my base. Then I applied a coat of Gesso all over the board. On one of the corner, I usedRose Bunch stencil from Craftyscrappers
with modelling paste and let it dry.
I had an old crochet piece done by my mom which was little torn on half of one side…
i used the other half to create a beautiful semicircle pattern running on side of the board. I stuck this using multi medium matte glue. After that I applied one coat of Gesso all over on the crochet piece.
I made these flowers separately and colored them using distress inks.
Then they are hand molded to turn into blooms.
Center of flowers is enamel dots.
Once all the Gesso is dried, i started with my favorite activity with my favorite Craftycrappers release… The Shimmer sprays… I have used a mix of 3 colors in sprays…
The effect is awesome…. I think my project is already speaking about the goodness of these sprays…. definitely a must try for all crafters and non crafters too.
I have used heat tool to dry the sprays . Then I used some quotes from “U SPARKLE” stamp set …. (The stamp set that i used here is 5x5inch size, its the ideal size stamp set that can be used in all kinds of craft projects.)
Stamping with Craftyscrappers stamps is super cool… as they are good with all surfaces. I used black archival ink to do stamping.
Lastly I have stuck some embellishments like beads, Inka gold, printed quotes from Prima marketing , resin frame, mdf ruler embellishment and Stampendous gold luxe mix to enhance the beauty.
Sharing some close ups now….
