and distress or archival inks.
step2
2.jpg
Create the background blending the inks using blending tool and glue a piece of corrugated sheet to the base.

3.jpg
Now using the stamp set “Dots to Lines”  Stamp set from the store, stamp the image randomly and add white embossing powder to it.
Heat emboss the stamped area.

4.jpg
Next I picked this lovely stamp set again from the store “You are so Enchanting” and stamped the images on a piece of white cardstock, colored them using faber castell color pencils and fussy cut them.

step5
5.jpg
Select other embellishments to go with your background, like flowers, chipbords, die cuts, pattern papers etc.

step6
6.jpg
Arrange and glue the elements to the cardboard.

step7
7.jpg
I added some more texture to the base by applying texture paste to the corrugated sheet, Used shimmer pastes  from the store. These are so good to use for any mixed media project and on any surface!
I also added some tint of gold paste .

DEC.jpg

A brief description

On how to create this fun card

  • Took a thick white cardstock and folded it into half in such a manner that front side is smaller than back side
  • Using archival ink “Vibrant fuscia” created the background getting a dense shade at bottom and moving with a lighter shade on top
  • Sprinkled few drops of water and removed the excess droplets with tissue
  • Using this cute stamp set “Wishing you Tons of Fun” by Craftyscrappers, stamped the images then colored and fussy cut them.
  •  Added a piece of acetate to the front side of the card using double sided tape
  • Punched the corners of the card
  • Using “Brick stencil” from Craftyscrappers added the embossing ink using sponge on the cardstock and acetate
  • Added gold embossing powder and heat embossed it. I repeated the process to get a thicker layer
  • Lastly added the images using foam tape and added few sequins and sentiments.

  • Then I pasted mesh fabric with the help of Fun-Foil glue by Craftyscrappers.
  • The Flower is handmade with PREMIUM White Cardstock from Craftyscrappers again and then I painted it using Shimmer spray-Grape juice.
Leaves are also painted using shimmer spray-bitter lemon.
  • I applied one more top coat of shimmer sprays on overall project after attaching them to desired places.
  • The Mdf’s are also from the Craftyscrappers and painted with prima acrylic colors.

For this project I have used lot of awesome supplies from Craftyscrappers.
A brief description:
On how to create this Mixed Media Home Decor
  • For this project,I took a simple silver card stock and applied some Ash shimmer paste and let it dry.
  • Once its dried I run it through an embossing folder. Then I stuck this sheet to cardboard.
  • For second layer I took a gift wrapping shimmery sheet and again embossed it with same folder, then stuck that on top of base with help of double sided tape.
  • After that I stuck a window die cut from one of the pattern papers.
  • Next I used Craftyscrappers “IM Stuck On U” stamp set to stamp and water color these beautiful succulents.I did fussy cutting to these stamps and again attached with double sided tape.
  • The sentiment is a metal embellishment stuck on a background created using same ash shimmer paste and some blue and green metallic paints.
