Hello Friends!

Anushree here and I am very happy to bring you this month’s challenge.
The theme for this month is “EMBOSSING“

You can create any project using embossing technique.
This embossing can be in any form,wet or dry,on stamps,through stencils or pastes.
it can be a layout, a journal page, a simple card, interactive cards,
mixed media canvas or project, altered art, anything crafty!

Last date of submission is 31st DECEMBER,2017

Lets quickly go through the challenge rules now…

You can create any project using the embossing technique.
This embossing can be in any form,wet or dry,on stamps,through stencils or pastes.
it can be a layout, a journal page, a simple card, interactive cards,
mixed media canvas or project, altered art, anything crafty!
The most important part is that, you have to USE AT LEAST ONE CRAFTYSCRAPPERS PRODUCT FROM CRAFTYSCRAPPERS STORE to make your project.(It can be anything from the store!!!)
CRAFTYSCRAPPERS PRODUCT used should be the FOCUS of your project.
If you do not have any products from us, You can purchase them from the store.
Do tell us in your post what product you have used from our store.

We had a nice number of cards and other crafty creations this month for our NOVEMBER challenge and several email, facebook and instagram entries.
Despite the holidays around the corner… everyone had a little time to enter the challenge!
we had so many wonderful entries for the November challenge… Lots of sketchy.. sparkly.. and dazzling creations were seen.

We absolutely adored each and every entry by the talented people
and we had a hard time deciding the winner.

But the majority of votes that made the winner for the
challenge#17: “SKETCH” is:

who created this super gorgeous interactive card… according to the challenge theme.

She has used our stamp set- MERMAID WISHES to create her make.

our super talented DT members have created some fabulous projects.

I am sure you will be truly inspired for the current month’s challenge with such creative inspirations.

Let’s have a look at them:

Cute Distressed card by DT Member

A brief description

On how to create this fun card

Took a thick white cardstock and folded it into half in such a manner that front side is smaller than back side
Using archival ink “Vibrant fuscia” created the background getting a dense shade at bottom and moving with a lighter shade on top
Sprinkled few drops of water and removed the excess droplets with tissue
Using this cute stamp set “Wishing you Tons of Fun” by Craftyscrappers, stamped the images then colored and fussy cut them.
Added a piece of acetate to the front side of the card using double sided tape
Punched the corners of the card
Using “Brick stencil” from Craftyscrappers added the embossing ink using sponge on the cardstock and acetate
Added gold embossing powder and heat embossed it. I repeated the process to get a thicker layer
Lastly added the images using foam tape and added few sequins and sentiments.

Beautiful Mixed media layout By DT member

A brief description

For this layout I have used Color splash stencil and Distress circle stencil from Craftyscrappers.
I used Shimmer paste,Sonoma,Tickled and Pumpkin to create base for the layout first…with these pastes I did wet paste embossing on the layout.The paste dries in next 15 minutes giving a gorgeous 2D embossing effect.
Then I pasted mesh fabric with the help of Fun-Foil glue by Craftyscrappers.
The Flower is handmade with PREMIUM White Cardstock from Craftyscrappers again and then I painted it using Shimmer spray-Grape juice.
Leaves are also painted using shimmer spray-bitter lemon.
I applied one more top coat of shimmer sprays on overall project after attaching them to desired places.
The Mdf’s are also from the Craftyscrappers and painted with prima acrylic colors.
Lastly added some gold micro beads here and there on the layout to add shimmer.
